ABS and Traction control light coming on

My ABS abd traction control light comes on sometimes and sometimes it dosen't. I hear a grinding sound times when breaking or going to stop. Is this indicative the the brake pads and rotors need to be replace?

ABS and Traction control light coming on

I thought it may be brakes, then driving it tonight I got that grinding noise again while slowing down for a speed bump so now I'm thinking it's the hub.

Not mutually exclusive. Add LCA bushings to the list.

Scan for codes. You're looking for a C code. Not all inexpensive code readers will show that.

Fixed ABS Problem

I took my car to a mechanic to narrow down my ABS problem and he said it was on the left front. I unplugged the harness and took the wires out of the flex loom and took of the tape that was on them and re-taped them very tightly. The ABS and traction control light hasn't been on since.
