Annual Brake Warping Tour

Well, just got back from Spring Carlisle and in spite of everything I did to prevent it, my rotors warped again!

Last year I had nice even rotors and going down the mountains on Rt. 74 in PA they just started shaking. I ended up replacing them with EBC slotted/drilled rotors to prevent it from happening again.

I babied it all the way, pumping, dropping to 2nd whenever possible, but the heat just warped them again. I was driving so slow on the way down that three cars passed me. Wonder if they have any problems? Doubt it. So goes the theory that any of these rotors are better than another.

Believe it was Snoopy who questioned this earlier - is it the rotors or something else on some cars? Could it be that the rear brakes arn't doing enough and it's all relying on the fronts?

Guess it reminds me of the old Byrd's 60s-70s song - What do you do with HHR rotors? "Turn, Turn, Turn".
