Bad TCM? BCM?

Hey guys im new to this fourm, but im having a few issues with my 09 hhr. ive had it for amost a yr now, miles are at 119xxx. was doing pretty good until about a month ago. trans lost 1st and overdrive and the engine light came on. ran it by autozone and he pulled 2 codes. forgot the actual codes so ill have to get em up but they were for, 1-2 shift soleniod closed, and tcm ill. but thats not all. see i also have a trusty 97 honda accord and so ive been driving that for a wk or 2. got in the hhr the other morning and the battery was dead. its a brand new battery thats only a couple months old so i jumped the car off with the correct jump spots under the hood. when i turned the car over, the rear wiper came on and i could hear a weird sound under the dash i believe. now i dont have any head lights tho all my fuses are fine and the taillights are fine, the front turn signals and bumper lights are out as well. and if you turn on the front wipers the rear ones come on. then if u hit the rear wiper the engine shuts off. if you turn on the ac the engine shutters n n shuts off. also no horn anymore as well. im thinking its gotta be electical but where to start??

Search under hood fuse panel, they do loosen up every once in a while, and fully charge that battery, the alternator isn't enough to charge it and run the system. Welcome to the site

12.8 volts is a full charge. 12.3 is low.

It appears to me you have a low voltage issue if it's been in that 12.3 area.

Just to be sure, it's the RED on the fuse box for + and the strut tower for -.

the voltage is actually 12.8 if i drive it everyday and 12.6 if it sets for wks at a time. and yes i know the jump spots, theyre clearly marked with both the +- and the ground even says ground for the dumbest of people.lol. but you were right about the fuse box being loose. tighted the bolts in there and all is well again with my electronics but the problem i started out with still remains, the trans not having 1st or overdrive. cel is on for it. dropped it off at a transmission shop thats well known around here called AMCO. they do great work and check everything for free im thinking its the shift soleniods. hope it doesnt cost too much. love this car
