Best place to by online for touchup paint
I tried all the auto stores in my area and no one had sport red metallic, so I went to my local dealer and picked up a bottle for $10. I picked up the primer and clear coat at walmart for $5 each. All were the Dupli-color brand, which matched perfectly.
Ironic thing is the biggest chip I have was self inflicted!
I think I may go for the paint pen for the "Traverse Blue" (yes that is what GM calls the Golden Teal
) and get the primer and cc at Wally World on the cheap.Goose
If the paint code is not the same, don't try it. I remember on my truck, it was called "Light Autumnwood Metallic". I could not find that touchup paint anyplace. I found it at the dealer. But I only gave them the code. By name, they wanted to give me something else.
I suggest the best place is with the dealer. I ordered some from paintscratch.com and it was close but not close enough for me. The dealer's was a perfect match and the clearcoat etc. I purchaed from Walmart. Sent the others back to paintscratch.

I noticed one on the hood and one on the rear left fender. They're very small, but I know they're there
