Arrow Bi directional obd2 scanner

Hi all,
I was about to buy an Innova 5610 Bi directional scanner but it looks like it does not support Bi directional active tests. Can anyone recommend a decent scanner that will do Bi directional on a 2008? I'm not looking to break the bank on a new scanner but would like something that can at least command my evap solenoids.

Thanks
Mike

Harbor Freight had one for around $1,000. Now that GM doesn't use Tech2 anymore there have been good prices on ebay.
A jumper wire can trigger them; under hood is PWM.
Why? What are you looking for? I bet some internet guru is sending you on wild chase.

Have you already replaced the vent valve and cap?

Many times the rubber gasket on the valve are at fault, the get damaged especially if you had to reuse the old one. Some come with a new gasket, some don't.

You can manipulate the vent solenoid with a jumper. If I recall correctly the vent is N.O. and the purge is N.C., My mind is not working real good today I may have those backwards.
