Blinkers often don't go off automatically

I have a 2007 Chevrolet HHR 1LT, and it seems like 50% of the time (during a typical turn) the blinkers don't go off on their own and I have to turn off myself. I was wondering if anyone else feels like this happens to them a lot. I'm not really sure if its just my car, or if this is somewhat typical for the HHR. I used to have a 2002 Buick Regal, and the blinkers always went off on their own. I never ever had to shut them off myself.

My 2006 HHR did that within the first year of ownership. I never took it in for warranty to have that repaired. I just adjusted my driving and now it's habit to move the level back to center position.

Sounds like you need to change the blinker fluid.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get used to it. I don't really think its worth it to stick money into something so minor. I just wasn't sure if this was typical or if it was just me.
