Blue Tooth drops out after programming

Don't know if this should be here, move it if need be.

I noticed now that the phone that is paired with the car doesn't work with Blue Tooth.
This happen once before and I found on a Cobalt forum to pull fuse #24 inside the car to reset XM radio and On Star.
That trick worked but the problem came back. Don't know how long cause I normally don't carry my phone with me.
It has now happened again, reset Blue Tooth on my phone, pulled #24 fuse, paired phone to car and it worked.
It has now dropped out again even though the phone is paired.

Am I looking at a possible Tech Two solution to this ?
Or a software update from the dealer ?

It could just need a complete reset, you know the drill, battery lobotomy. A full 30 minutes disconnect the negative terminal at the battery.
I like to try the easy peasy stuff , first.
At least it’s no cost and most times effective.

Just as a test I'll try it.

I did find some info regarding the On Star module in the back of the car that is connect to the Blue Tooth system.
I wonder if this might be cause of my problem. No way to test it though.
I guess by doing the R&I of fuse #24 you are resetting the On Star module.
Also I don't have an On Star subscription active.

Subscription should not matter, but the fuse does. Remember the tiny antenna is buried back there too.

Could you explain that ?
I have the shark fin on the roof.
Do you mean the wire that goes to it ?

The BT antenna is tiny and buried in the box and in your phone. BT is radio subject to interference. The frequency is 2.45 GHz.

OK .So how do you prove your information ?
It doesn't matter where I am. Towers are very well placed around me.
Long Island is flat. Lol.

???
BT and getting your phone signal from a tower..........2 different things. Shark fin on the roof. Nothing to do with the BT.
Someone isn't clear on what "system" you are talking about.
