Broken windshield from mirror mount
Broken windshield from mirror mount
Hey so I tried to snap back my rear view mirror into the ball socket, and after much effort I figured I would either crack the windshield or break the ball joint. So in the process of trying to slide out the black plastic that's the ball joint out of the metal stuck to the windshield, the glass of the windshield cracked on the inside. It's only on the inside and I didn't try removing the whole thing because I didn't want it to get worse. Im hoping theres a way to repair it because the whole windshield can mean $$$.
Besides, the incomes of the guys in Nigeria are not very high.
If the crack is not large, try using a polymer for repair the chips. Sometimes referred to as UV glue, it is something that hardens from an ultraviolet flashlight and becomes very durable.
The glass will not be returned in its original condition, but it will give you several weeks or months to save money and wait for the order.
Rest assured, this is a real problem.

Is that like a stereotypical thing, because I understand these people even though I'm no African and I can tell some of them are living their lives. I don't see how that brought any more relevance to what you said in the following.
I’m sure that geg, was not meaning any disrespect, just a misconception about income, in Nigeria.
For that matter, my comments about a damaged windshield being a damaged windshield still stands , it doesn’t matter where you are in this world, it’s still a damaged windshield.
I do not know for sure but there must be some sort of windshield replacement company, that can replace the windshield.
Here in Canada, it is usually covered in our comprehensive insurance policy.

In any case, it is bad practice to look for a dirty trick where they try to help you.
For reference. I communicate with Nigerians regularly, there are many of them in our city. These are students and hired workers. Neither the first nor the second live in luxury.
Maybe inside Nigeria everything is much better and only poor people come to us? But for some reason I can't believe it.
