Okay so I'm staying to wonder if my seat bar is cracked. Definitely corroded. Also when I break i can hear something sounds loose. Reminds me of the sway bar link. But it is actually tight. I have a video of the noise I'll post here soon. Like I've said the struts are brand new Grabriel and the clunking didn't get any better.

I lost a friend when his jack failed while he was under the car.

I don't hear any clunks in the video.

Did you grease the sway bar bushings?

Yes swaybar bushings were greased very well and nothing changed. Do you guys hear the rattle in the video? Happens when braking at about 60mph down to 40mph. Could the tierod ends make that noise?

No but check them, I'm leaning toward the rear LCA bolt isn't tight enough, or the swaybar end link nuts

The problem is.. drumroll please.. The sway bar bushings again. The energy suspension greaseable ones lasted a whopping 7 months. The repair shop took me in the garage and showed me when you rock the suspension the swaybar moves like crazy in there. I ordered OEM ones with the clamps for $35. If I had used the GM parts in the first place I could've saved myself all this frustration and money of having to pay labor for the same job a second time and getting a misdiagnosis buying new struts. DO NOT USE ENERGY SUSPENSION GREASEABLE BUSHINGS. Stick with GM for this part.

I've had Energy Suspension polyurethane sway bar bushings for almost five years and over 125,000 miles no problem, which begs the question, do you have the correct sized bushings 25 mm bushings on a 23 mm bar will make a lot of noise.
