Angry Cannot open door

Rear passenger door will not open from inside OR outside. Managed to get inside door panels off but still cannot get mechanism to release. Tried to remove door by removing mounting bolts but the mechanism to hold the door in place once opened will not allow removal and cannot itself be removed/unbolted without the door being opened.
I cannot at this point see how to get this open without damaging something irrepairably!
Anyone out there have experience fixing this issue?

You should be able to reach the door latch if you got the interior door panel off

The body of the latch assembly can be reached but the problem seems to be internal to it. It cannot be removed because the mounting screws for it are in the door face NOT in the latch body. Dismantling it will only give access to levers and linkage that also do not directly release the latch.
I have never had a problem beat me, but I CANNOT seem to get past this issue!

The door itself seems to be only retained at this point by the plastic part that holds it in the open position (keeps it from swinging freely). The mounting bolts for it are also not accessable with the door closed, but there is a pin that it hinges on I can get to. Problem is, I cannot seem to get it to move. Anyone know if it is simply a tight fit or is the head "mushroomed" to prevent it coming out?

The pin appears to be mushroomed, I can’t find a clear photo of that end of the tether
