car won't start or crank after shift solenoid replacement

Hello I just finished getting my car back together after replacing the 4 trans solenoids. Everything is pluged back in except the shift cable retainer (pics below) and after filling the trans with about 5-6 quarts of transmission fluid, the car will not start and I'm fairly sure I still have a check engine light. I didn't take apart the fuse box just removed the four bolts on the side and bungee corded it out of the way and I reconnected the ecm and computer before connecting the battery. I'm going to try and jump start it but other than that I'm clueless.

Turning the key to on

Turning the key all the way to start

Shift cable
Update: car is stuck in neutral I think
Update #2: car is stuck in neutral even though shifter is in park
I also ripped the front wheel well when lowering the car but that can be dealt with later. FML

Linkage is out of sync. The gear position sensor (or whatever it’s called) can’t tell if it’s in park or neutral to let it start.

questions

Oldblue: are you referring to the 7mm bolts on the "middle" of the fuse box or the 2 10mm and 2 12mm I think that connect the fuse box to the frame? I went out of my way to not mess with the 7mm bolts.

George: how would I go about fixing said linkage? Would bypassing the safety switch to put the shifter in neutral to match the transmission help?

These 4 , 7 mm bolts tighten them past any clicking to tight, the pins have to be pulled in tight to ensure a solid connection

I didn't mess with those on purpose but I'll double check them for sure thanks.

Since I've narrowed it down I might make an update post that goes into greater detail.
