Changing headlights

What a PITA.... I had to research on the internet that you have to turn the wheel and pull the outer wheel well off. I see the hole on the inner fender on the passenger side. I changed the light that way and noticed my air intake hose was pushed off to the side and against the fender. It wasnt in the hole as it should have been. This explains why this vehicle had no power and was a turtle on roller skates. I put the hose back and notice an improvement, now my HHR isnt no Corvette or Mustang, but it can get out of it's way now. It is fun to drive :)

You don't have an owner's manual?

there is a "you tube" instruction on removing the front bumper and changing the enite headlight assembly if needed. Took about 20 minutes to drop it, change it, and put it back up. Don't know your HHr year
