My guess is the timing chain broke. Pretty simple fpr a mechanic to diagnose.

More details and clarification please - did you replace all those parts before or after it died on you? If it is a timing chain like donbrew suspects, the engine might well be a write off. Was there any rattling or weird noises from the engine before it died?

these were put on after the car died, per a mechanics recommendation, (seems like now he was just guessing) and is there any way to check the timing chain without a true mechanic looking at it?

If you can take the cam cover off the top of the motor and observe; if you see gears and no chain: broken, if the chain has noticeable slack: broken, if it does not move when the starter is cranking: broken.

If this guy didn't do that simple test threaten to sue him. He may have fixed the P0122 but there is no way of telling if the motor is not running, I doubt it.

I don't suggest going to a Dealership, they went to the same clown school this guy did.

If you pull the valve or cam cover, and it’s this loose, it’s the timing chain.

This is what it looked like when I pulled valve cover, when I spun. The crank it became loose

How did you spin the crankshaft? By turning the key to start? Or by hand, with a socket and ratchet? If by hand, clockwise or counterclockwise?
