Angry Click/pop noise from front end

Hello everyone I need your help here is my situation. I have a 08 HHR SS no mods in terms of suspension or anything like that. Stock breaks tires and so fourth. so For 2 weeks now Ive been hearing a noise coming from the front end. It sounds like a clicking/pop noise coming from the front end, sometimes I hear it when I apply the break but it happens more often and is a lot louder when I turn the wheel say for example to make a U turn or when im adjusting in a parking stall and you can even sometimes feel the vibration on the steering wheel and the peddles when the noise happens. so about a month ago I had my front break pads replaced at my personal mechanic so I thought it might be that and maybe he put em in wrong. My SS needed a oil change anyway so I went yesterday to the local Chevy dealer and had em do the oil change and take a look at my breaks. A few hours later they call and said everything is fine they didn't hear any noise and the breaks look fine. So I went to pick up the car and drove for 5 min and sure enough the noise was still there. So I went went back and told em, I drove with the service tech so he can listen for himself. Of course he heard it too. SO for a diagnostic it was gonna cost me 107.00 sucks but oh well had to be done. This morning they called me and I went to pick it up. They admit they can hear the noise but they can identify where it is coming from. They said everything is nice and tight, nothing loose, nothing cracked, everything was right where it should be luckily the guy said he wasn't gonna charge me the 107 for the diagnostic which was nice I would have hated to pay that much for nothing, but still the noise is there and I don't think its gonna go away on its own so what can I do? breaks and suspension are apparently "fine" so now what? any suggestions? I appreciate any help.

Why would you suspect BRAKES for a noise in the suspension? You seem to be describing CV axle BREAKage. Maybe hub bearings.

Am I too subtle? Sorry, just a stickler for spelling (words mean things).

Well at first I thought it may be the breaks just because the noise started about a week or 2 after the front pads were installed but the dealership says it isn't the breaks or the suspension is fine so idk.

Hmm I just noticed that I'm on my cell it has auto spelling. I guess it spells it the other way. But the point is you know what I'm talking about.

Look at the rear bushings of the lower control arms....several people have had problems there....
personally I'd like to come up with a way to use spherical bearings in place of the rubber ones

Well I took my SS to a trusted mechanic. He found what the problem was. He says the lower left side bearing is going bad. He said it was odd because the right side is in perfect shape. Repair is gonna cost me 200, that's parts and labor. Idk if I should take it back to the dealer and see what they say?? Idk if this would be covered under warranty. I have a feeling they gonna say their "can't replace unless it's broken" line. What do you guys think?
