Have them check out your front struts, I was told that the HHR has an National Back order on them mine were leaking and I have been waiting for mine to come in for weeks now and the ride is not so smooth any more, I can't wait for mine to be replaced

Had just about the same problem. Problem was in the linkage someway. Mine started with the key not coming out of the ignition. Dealer did some adjustment, works fine now.

Mine went out like this 4 different times. 3 days was the longest. Every time when I schedule an appointment to get it fixed, the problem corrects itself. They can't find anything wrong then. Dealer is fantastic, f only the darn thing would stay broken, sort of an electrical posession.

I hope I don't have to stay in suspense much longer. Maybe I'll just across the US and check back later.

Just a quick correction, relays usually click when they're good and usually don't click when they go bad Just wanted to clear that up.

This again happened to my HHR, again fixed itself before Dealer could look. Then a miracle! it broke again on the way past the dealer!. Dealer checked it out and kept it. They found a TSB (I won't pay so I can't read them at alldata), reprogrammed some module and all is well again.
