Cluster and radio sound not working
Cluster and radio sound not working
2010 HHR LS
In October I changed the headlights and ever since my gauges and dash lights randomly come in and out with a lot of vibrating also the radio stopped putting out sound And recently it started shifting hard/searching for gear.
I have cleaned every single ground I could find
I have squeezed wiggled and disconnected and reconnected every wire and connector I can find.
I have replaced the output speed sensor.
I have checked the connectors on everyone of the computers ECM BCM TCM
I have checked every fuse and the fuse box is tightly bolted.
I replaced the battery I've had the alternator checked
When I checked the fuses before any of these issues started all of the fuses metal was darkened in the under hood fuse box
The interior fuse box shows no sign of corrosion or burnt fuses.
I have taken apart the whole center console and check to the wires under it and under the two seats.
I have I swapped out the TCM got it reprogrammed.
When I use a scaner it says
Lost communication with cluster
High voltage in solenoid 1 and 2
There was a leak from the quick connector on the transmission cooler line I replaced the line and the adapter for the quick connect on the radiator.
I've done a lot more but I can't remember right now if anybody has any suggestions I really appreciate it!
I'm getting a multimeter tomorrow to check some connections to make sure they're getting appropriate power.
The only two things I have yet to fully check/replace is
The cluster itself
I have not replaced the BCM yet but I'm trying to save that for last because of how pricey it is.
I forgot to mention when I turn my turn signal on my dome light dims every time The blinker flashes.
Update
I'm officially screwed

All the codes that pop-up most of these are new The only ones that were popping up were connection with cluster and high voltage and solenoid 1 and 2

You got a bad ground wire connection somewhere,

Check this thread for any ground wire connections you may have missed

Yeah that's what I used to check all my grounds was that exact forum That's how I found it this website.
I have cleaned and checked every single one that I could possibly do aside from tearing the car apart.
Have you tested the speakers? The base speakers are so bad that they usually all fail, eventually. I bet thousands of base radios have pointlessly been replaced because the owners didn’t believe all four speakers could fail.
Speakers are good when randomly my radio and gauges decide to work and all the speakers sound work fine.
