Clutch Spring

Driving home from work yesterday when I stepped on the clutch I heard and felt a pop, I knew right away that my return spring had gone. Looking underneath when I got home I found half a spring on the floor and the remainder still mounted. There are two springs, one on each side of the pedal and one is still working. I have extended warranty with 100 dollar deductable. Do you think I will have to pay for this repair? Its an 08 SS with about 25500 miles on it. other than Tps this is my first problem. Thanks DJB

Why not call your dealer and ask them? We don't know the full extent of your warranty - anything we can say here would be a guess.

davidjb,

I agree with whopper, I would take your vehicle into the dealer and see what they can do for you. Let us know what you find out, thank you!
