Those are actually Mood control arms (Moog RK620898 Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly). They only lasted close to a year (14,000 miles). Very disappointing with moog. I still had my warranty them, but I decided that instead of replacing my control arms every year I would rather get better bushings. Better = other reputable brand, and the ones that don't have holes.
Hmm I wish I ordered this earlier. Seems like pretty solid construction. This time I will go with the ones from ACDelco. A week without a car in LA is a bit of a challenge. Thanks for advice though.
I will go with orientation A. The tapered end of the bushing has numbers on it, and it is facing in the same direction that the ball joint is facing.
The ring is up in the same direction as the ball joint nub.
AC Delco rubber bushings at 40,000 miles.
Out with them old busted up ones and in with the new Moog K200792 problem solvers. That was on August 4, 2015, 67,000 miles ago. Still tight and the handling is great.
