Find the part number of the tool for them.

I have had to do that every time I need a tool. They tell me they don’t have it and then I tell them to look up a part number and what do you know, there it is.

What was the outcome? Did the new radiator fix the problem?

I never installed the new radiator.

I was able to get some air out of the system and ran a flush which seemed to help; however, I still get high temps on hot sunny days when I am stuck in traffic.

On my 07 2.4 I was seeing temps between 204 and 210 at long red lights. The coolant had been changed right before I bought it in June. I added the coolant enhancer in the picture and now at a long light it stays at 196 to 198. My ac is always on here in Florida too. Ive got no interest in this company but it really works for me.

Did you replace the thermostat?
There is a lot of fluid that doesn’t drain out unless you remove the thermostat.

Which may explain why you noticed an improvement, but also why it is not completely fixed. You may have just mixed some new fluid with the old.

Good thing you did the flush with the old radiator in it.
You might surprise yourself with the new radiator, I would use it.
