2007 LT with 78K miles, just replaced thermostat and noticed wet spot on garage floor,defintely coolant from right front area.
Is this covered by the engine,drivetrain warranty? looking at my printout from chevy mgr seems to indicate coolant pump and gasket hoping I'm not gonna have to pay for it.

Instead of asking people on the internet, you should talk to your local Chevy dealer if it's a warranty issue.

 

If it's in the right front of the engine, it is not the water pump that's in the right rear of the engine.
