Exclamation Cracked end piece on Windshield Cowling

June will be the end of my 3 year warranty on My 06 2LT. I'm thinking of taking the Toy in for warranty work before it ends. On thing I recently discovered is a crack in the passenger side end piece of rubber/plastic cowling that covers access to the windshield wiper linkage I hope it can be replaced under warranty or because of GM's current state, I hope the Dealer will be able to replace it.

FYI here's a picture of the crack. I wonder if anyone else has seen this problem

Thanks' Chad, Now I'm know I'm not the only one. Now to replace/fix the windshield, heard a crack on the way back from a cruise yesterday, gotta small pit in it now.Maybe I'll just fill in in since it's not in my direct view

Necrobump? I just met the windshield guy outside my office and he pointed literally this EXACT same crack out to me. Funny! Its like I could have taken this picture myself and it would be an exact match. Wonder why it cracks right there?

I bet the screw that holds it is right there under the hood. Or the last windshield replacement guy didn't pay close attention. I have seen them try to do the job without removing the cowl, because those 2 screws are such a chore.

I have the same exact crack, nothing has been moved since new. It is also an 06 2LT.
My wife has an 07 with no problem in this area..

Given greggs market value being 12 years old with 230,000 miles, I might just use the leftover silicone from a recent plumbing job I did lmfao.
