Get the charging system checked. Sounds as if it's not charging the battery back up.

... and most Auto parts stores will test the charging system for free (as they do for batteries).

well, no charging problems.....our mechanic is looking for a drain on the battery.
Thought....We had the ignition replaced by dealer here according to recall. Since then we had key stuck in ignition switch because of a part failure (don't remember name but I remember part cost 500. Gas mileage down to ll miles/gallon. Now this electrical drain. Up to this point, we have had no problems with this car in 5 years and 97,000 miles. Anyone had problems with this recall? Thank you for any help. |
Have your guy check the throttle position sensor. When they go bad they can cause a drain, usually it throws a code......but.
