dic, radio display

dic, mileage and radio displays are out upon starting but come on a short time after I start driving. Radio and everything works during this time. Looking at the fuse box I cannot find a lighting display fuse. Anyone know where to look? It just started this about a week ago. 2006 year model.

Did you look in both fuse boxes? Not sure about 2006 fuse locations. If it comes back on, then I assume the fuse is not blown.Might try the trick of pushing all the fuses in to make sure they are seated tightly.
(2010 owners manual shows #62 as instrument cluster:under hood fuse block)

This may sound stupid, but have you tried turning the dimmer switch? It may have a poor contact...

john,

I'm sorry you're having this problem. The cluster fuse is #7 in the floor console fuse block, it may be lose. If the problem still persists I would suggest having it diagnosed y the dealer. Please keep us updated, thank you.

John,

firemangeorge was correct about #62 being the Instrument Panel, Ignition fuse on the engine compartment fuse block. I would check both.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. i haven't found any problems yet. The mileage display always shows when door is opened like it should. Once the display comes on,usually within a mile it stays on with no problems until a restart. It never goes on and off like a bad connection. I'm thinking a possible relay prob somewhere. Anyhow I will get it checked by the dealer if it gets worse.

Here's a post from ChevyMgr from a couple of years ago that could be useful:
