Evidence suggests that replacing the factory rotors and pads on the HHR is a good idea, expecially when the brake pedal pulsation becomes more than intermittent, as it is on mine.

Is there any justification for spending more than absolutely necessary when it comes to rotors?

 

Brakes are one of those things where its true that you get what you pay for. Napa's "Ultra Premium" are $58 each. I've been using Napa's premium brake parts for years and have been very satisfied. I see no need to buy performance rotors for any car unless you race, or want to "look cool".

 

Many would argue that perception is reality...lol...
