So your clicking is near the TCM? Or the interior fuse block? Or both?

Gearbox? is that a translation error?

All HHRs use the same gear shift; 2009-2011 are the upgraded type, they have a leather boot.
The battery should have 12.7 volts when the engine is off.
I looked at ebay.pl, I found 1 without looking hard or searching in Polish language.

No my friend. Clicking comes from back of fuse box and its constant wit durablity one slower once faster onec click lik 1 in 5 seconds and this clicking sound like when you push your door lock switch many times , the next clicking comes when i pres brake pedal the shifter solenoid click all the time when brake pedal is pressed, the fuse box clicking is still on (so now we have two clicking units one in the back of interior fuse box, and the other one when i press brake pedal. The TCM was the diagnosis of third mecanic (but he didnt touch a thing, since when i asked him if we relpace the tcm for programed one the problems will stophe said maybe, if not we will search more) it makes no sound, BUT under the BCM and TCM is a big tube i think thats the starter, and he make the mentioned "zit zit zit" sound or something near him. I know the sound that make two wires crossed and thats not it.

I don't know if the solenoid and micro-switches are available separately.
I searched "hhr gear shift" on ebay.pl. I did not filter anything; the third listing was exactly what you need; I bet you could find a better deal with a bit of filtering.

Shifters in ALL years and models interchange. 2009-2011 are better than 2006-2008.

I'm currently facing the same problem and I've been to 5 workshops and they all gave up. Have you found a solution?
