Unhappy DR low beam headlight not working

I put silverstars in my car some 28kmi ago, this weekend the driver side low beam is not working. When I turn on the hi-beams both headlights work, so the presumed the bulb works. I swapped the fuse out and didn’t solve the problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

some bulbs have two filaments in them, a high and low beam..

so your lowbeam filament could be burned out.. which means youd just need to buy ya a new one. hehe :)

thats my two cents

Thanks…. To be honest I was hoping it was anything but that…. it was a big pain to replace the bulbs the first time I wasn’t looking forwards to doing it again.

Scratched up my arm and got the bulb replaced, the low beam filament was burned out. I think GM thinks its funny to contentiously making every new generation of vehicle harder more impossible to service. From by grand prix, to the impala, and now the hhr its a downward slope.

auto starter headlight

Here's one for anyone that may have had this problem.I replaced the H13 with Xenon white bulbs a few weeks ago. The other day I used my remote autostarter an the drivers side doesn't light up also when I use the lock button on the remote only one side lights:confused, but here the kicker the headlights work on low and hi beam and the daytime running lights also work.
