Drivers door won't open.

drivers door wont open, from inside or outside, have not been able to look at it yet, any suggestions, will tonight if I get home early enough, wife has to climb over seats to get in and out.

broken door handle mechanism inside. I think it's a common problem. More will come and comment. Till then, try the search option on "door lock"

OOOOH that can't be making her too happy. Must be some thing in the linkage came loose is it under warantee still ??

That is what I suspect, but if the latch mechanism is broken how do you get the door open, what is the secret. you cant take the panel off with the door closed

Mine has a glass escape hatch in the roof. I have found it quite handy for climbing out quickly. I was amazed to find that Chevy had thought of such an idea, but I wonder why it's made of glass.
