I hope that fixes it for you. That's the first thing the dealer did for mine and it didn't do it. I have had it back to the dealer 2 times since then. Last fall they pulled dash replace seals around steering and sealed some areas. It seemed like that fixed it. I didn't check it all winter. About a month ago I decided to pull trim and feel under the carpet, it was soaked. I brought it back to the dealer. They pulled the carpet and I had them leave it out. I am now driving around without carpeting waiting for it to rain. I am hoping I can trace where it is coming from.

someone suggested a sqeeze bottle of baby powder. give it a couple of puffs around the problem area inside then hose it down outside. the water will leave tracks in the powder. nows a good time since the carpet is out.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try that the last time but it got so soaked you couldn't pin point the leak. That's when they pulled the dash. I think I will powder again when rain is in the forecast. One other thing you can use along with the baby powder is spray foot powder.

I have tried hosing it down and so has the dealer. It doesn't leak a drop. I am thinking of trying a power washer, spraying underneath and around the windshield.

could be behind that firewall mat that goes from the floor to the bottom of the windshield. to get that mat out u'd have to either cut it or pull the dash. or maybe something on the bootm of the rockers. i shined a flashlight thru the slots that hold the rocker cover on and i could see daylight thru a seam in the bottom of the rocker

Either of you guys have the sunroof? I believe I've read there is a drain tube that runs down inside the drivers side windshield pillar..... It can get plugged and/or become disconnected. I haven't taken mine apart yet so I don't know for sure.

no sunroof for me. im glad too. a sunroof is just like a skylight. nothin but a big hole in your roof. pretty sure my leak was that stupid wring boot. they designed the passenger side differently so it doesn't leak.

Y'all should have some of this close at hand. Bought it as a joke for my mechanic son but i tried it and i love the stuff! Looks better than having a can of baby powder on the counter (unless of course you have a baby, and then they make some especially for the midget).

I don't have a sunroof either.

Mr Ship thanks for your suggestion too. I may give it a try sometime.

Hello stan,
I found my water leak last week on the drivers side froor. (it was soaked)

It was the seam near the hood release handle not properly sealed. Here is a pic with the water leaking when I hosed it down and the carpet pulled back.

Good luck!

I dont think there should be water getting in that pillar in the first place, you should try and find where its going in.
