I have an unusal electricial problem with my 2006 HHR LT. The lights blink on and off when the car is turned off. Almost like you are using the remote to lock and unlock the car. Sometimes when I'm driving the power locks lock and unlock. If I don't use the car forn a day or two it kills the battery. We replaced the BCM and it was fine for two weeks now its doing it again. Anyone have this problem or have any thoughs on what might be the problem.

How old is the battery? If it is on it's way out, this may be your problem, if not,
try disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hr to reset the computer. Hope this helps.

As suggested by the_shmoo, you can try an "electrical lobotomy" by disconnecting the battery, also consider having the battery checked and load tested. HHR's are known for acting "weird" when the battery voltage is low, if the battery checks out, then possible failure of the lock control module should be considered.
