End links and ABS bracket

Just put some Moog end links on our 2006 HHR in the eternal quest to quiet the front end rattles and noticed that the new slightly thicker end link now goes pretty darn close to the metal bracket on the strut that holds the little plastic clip that comes from the abs sensor in the hub. Part of the rattle/vibration is probably in the cheap rotors I put on last year, but wondering if anyone has seen this metal bracket/end link thing in their own cars. Can the end links be reversed/flipped with the top threaded stud from the ball joint on the end link facing toward the engine? I think this would get it away fom that flange.

year or so back, replaced the stabilizer end links with the greasable moogs on my 2006 HHR.....noticed what you see but was NVER a problem, at all.....only "interference" problem that i saw was evidence of contact between the stabilizer bar and the control arms when the control arms were at full droop. minor but enough to wear a small divit on both arms where contact was made. so...come to see that there was a fair amount of end play(right/left) travel on the bar, itself.....so, replaced the stabilizer(sway) bar mounts with a couple of urethane energy suspension ones........not only did this "fix" any front end "clunks" that i had it also firmed up the front end. shortly there after, replaced the control arm rear bushings wih moogs, as well..............it's all good.

If you flip it the big end will probably contact the tire
