Front Seat Doesn't Fold Flat

Anyone have any idea why my front seat wont fold down flat? It hasn't since I got it... Or is that as far as it goes? I was under the impression that it folds as flat as the rear seats.

I mean, it isn't the end of the world, I'm just a little curious.

Here are the pictures:

Sorry the last one is a tad blurry...it was really dark in the garage...

I tried putting the armrest up, and that didn't make a difference... I don't know what might be blocking it or what... Any ideas?

I don't know if it makes a difference, but is the seat all the forward or back? Mine is in the middle-ish to sort of match the drivers seat position (I'm short, so it is up kinda close).

But yes, mine folds flat and I use it as a desk (sit in the back and prop up books/laptop).

I'll have to try moving the seat up or back. I think it's in about the middle right now...

I have to take the car in next week..maybe I'll have them look at it... Who knows, maybe I could get a new seat out of it!!! Just kidding!

The seat back has to be adjusted fully up (forward) for it to lay flat.
