Fuel gauge not working
Thanks again Don; and to everyone else here. Your knowledge and experience have been invaluable.
Also I read in a lot of places that you need to disassemble parts of the dash to swap out the cluster.Here's how I did it.Disconnect the battery.Remove the 2 screws on the cluster surround remove it.I then took the top of the steering wheel/ignition cover off just to give me a little more room.It just pops off. Remove the 2 bolts on the bottom of the cluster and pull down and forward to remove it.They don't give you alot of slack on the wires but its just enough to remove the wiring harness.At the top of the harness there is a black tab.Push it in and move the grey latch from right to left.Push it all the way until the connector pops out.Put in the new cluster and reverse the process.Took me about 15 minutes.Easy.
