Well , Dan was home, so we dug in and changed out the crusty rusty fuel lines, the vapour line was rusted through and the fuel pressure line broke when disturbed to extract it from the body mount clips.
The new lines went in with a little extra care up and over the parking brake cable in the passengers side.
We had the jack stands under the pad where rear axle pivot is and up front under the rear LCA bolt area.
We had a time with the Bundy if the new line slipping into the fuel connector, but a wipe off and a little grease lubed it up and in it went.
When it was time to connect everything, the front connection for the EVAP Solenoid valve was a 3/8, we simply cut the new his and reused the old 5/16 fitting.
I’ve contacted the supplier about this problem and we’re working on a solution.

The Bundy is the metal male end of the line, it’s squared cut in the new line

The 5/16 reused fitting

The OEM Bundy, see how it’s rounded on the end.

Dan seems to think the o ring in the tank fitting is nicked, I’ve ordered a new feed line from the fuel pump to the metal line, hey, their eleven years old, they get brittle.
We’ll drop the tank when that arrives, GM up here is out of stock, the Regional dealer parts rep, came over on Friday afternoon, he explained that they are just starting to get requests for that line.
Pictures to follow, with fuel dripping from the lines, Sweetie wisely advised to not destroy my digital camera or my IPhone 6.

So, I’ve dropped communications with the vendor, the email communication was slow and torturous, and really so what I have to address a leak , I’m not thrilled about the vapour line end being wrong but will I ever need to buy another set of lines? Probably not.
My GM parts guy is hunting down that feed line from the fuel pump to the fuel metal line, I can’t see replacing the orings as a viable repair , if I can’t obtain one then I’ll look into replacing the 3/8 barbed to 3/8 Bundy fitting.

I'm so not looking forward to this... But I'm sure it's in my future. See, I gotta pay somebody $$$ to replace these lines, can't do it myself anymore.

Mine wasn’t very hard, I just hit the jackpot with the feedline fitting, that’s the leak part.
I can see those pieces making it easier, but I was thinking less chance of a leak with the one piece lines. I suggest a drop oil oil on the line to help slide the fitting on . And double check before crawling under that there are no burrs in the end of the line.
