I'm replacing this valve on 07 HHR and don't want to break the white clip on the back hose how doe's it come off?

 

If you are talking about the canister purge valve under the hood; no it does not come off, you just gently pry the fingers out while pulling the hose off. It kind of requires 3 hands where there is space for only 1 hand.

The clip on the tube is the same principal (sp) on both, just different sizes.
