GM finally gave me a decent resolution to my problems..
as most of you have seen my threads about continuous problems ive had with my HHR i figured id update the situation.
Ive been told for over 2 months that the GM district manger would call me...well the other day he finally called and talked everything over with me and informed me that he felt that buying the car back was not a reasonable option for him. After talking to him about all the inconveniences ive had with the problems he asked me if he payed a few months payments for me if that would help...i said well thats a start.....long story short i ended up getting 4 months payments posted to my account....which equals 1600.00 ......so i didn't get a new car out of the deal but did finally get something to make me feel better about the situation.....i told him that id take it but if something else comes up hes going to be the first to know about it...

Sorry to hear about all your vehicle problems. Few things are more frustrating than something that's problem-prone that isn't easily discarded or replaced, and you know you're going to have to continue owning it for the foreseeable future. I hope the financing payments make up for that.
If I can offer an unsolicited suggestion, you may want to find out whether his remuneration is solely for past inconveniences or whether it's a buy-off for future problems that leaves you with no remedy but your warranty in exchange for the proverbial "box of beads" too (especially if your gut tells you of further problems ahead).
Despite having both the resources and the means to do anything they choose, they sure hang on like grim death to avoid setting a precedent, don't they?
Best of luck!
