Good dealer report, for a change of pace

We've had our '06 2LT for about 3 months now. We have 11,500 on it. A couple of minor issues, the brakes pulsate (but only at freeway speeds) as so many others have reported, the driver side visor mirror keeps popping out, and of late the outside temp gauge gets "stuck" at 59 degrees.

So we had a free oil change coming from the dealer. My wife takes it in this morning for the oil change and asks about the other issues. They tell her they can look it, that its all covered under warranty (which I expected), and that she'll have to wait 3 hours .

They got it done in 1 1/2 hours! They said they could find nothing wrong with the outside temp gauge, but they replaced it anyway. They did the front brakes. They have to order a new replacement visor and will call when it comes in.

No hassles, no arguments, just good service. BTW, this is Holz Motors in Hales Corners, WI.

So great to read about a service dept that actually gives good service. Sad that some really just dont care. They stress what they cant do for you rather than what they can.

I sent an associate into my dealer ....(Weseloh Chevy, Carlsbad, CA)

He bought a black SS 5sp, that same day. (I now hate him....LOL)

Anyway, the dealer asked what they could do for me, and I requested the black rubberized cargo mats from the panel. I often carry computers, copiers, etc in my 1LT, and have to use the area with the seats folded down.

Much to my surprise, they said no problem, and ordered same.

both JN Chevrolet in Honolulu and here at Vista Chevrolet in Las Vegas have given the cruiser good service. Doesn't hurt the cute female service rep that said she would come in on her off day to set me up for the extended warranty. She must get a cut for selling it to me.
