Got key problems again.

So the day before I leave for our meet in boca raton my key hangs up in the ignition. I had the ignition cylinder replace about a year ago after I couldn't turn the car off. So now this time I was able to shut it off. The key is extremely hard to get in the and out of the ignition but it turns back to shut the car off fine.
What do I do!!!

Try some lock lube you can find it at auto parts and hardwear stores.

And spray it in the cylinder?

I used the search feature to find how to remove the key if it gets stuck. I can't find anything. Does anyone have that link or know how to do it?

Found the problem. Never would have thought of it. Sometime during the course of my work day I bent my key. I found my spare and it fits perfect and works lol. Boca here I come!!

I did that once! But the dam key broke off in the cylinder, TG it was easier to fix than it sound like, just some duck tape and a pair of tweezers.

Scared me. I'm going to the meet tomorrow.....friday the 13th and then that happened. I was like go figure I won't be able to take my HHR. But thankfully it was just the key.

I am glad you were able to get this figured out and stilled had the spare key. I hope you had a great time at the meet.
