How does the bowtie come off...I see one screw on the back....looks like it is doublesided taped on......afraid of scratching the grill...is this where the fishing line comes in handy????

 

double sided tape that NASA developed. that stuff is insane. there are 2 posts that render the fishing line trick almost useless.

depending on what your plans are....i painted mine, and if i had to do it all over again i would have just removed the grill.
