Anyone know which of these ground locations is for the tcm?

Guages occassionally began going dead about 8 months ago with transmission going into limp mode and loss of power steering, I added a ground wire and haven't had trouble since then until now. jI now ust replaced the tcm and added a new decent heavy guage ground wire (was using aligator clips from tcm to tower) and haven't had problems since doing so (last two weeks). I"ve got to believe that the ground wire had something to do with it since the car was fine for 8 months after adding it.. I've probably seen most of the videos dealing with this issue none of them helped except for the ground wire fix.
Why not try tightening the fuse box bolts?
The facebook ground wire is a horrible idea. If the TCM has a ground problem the issues are bigger than that. If it had anything to do with a fix, it was most likely a peripheral nudge on something.
If you are worried about grounding it you would be smarter to just inspect the connector pins
What do the gauges or power steering have to do with grounding the TCM? More likely the fuse box halves are separating.
Are you aware of the power steering lifetime warranty?

I don't think its the fuse box. During the most recent episode I started the car in the driveway and the secuirty light went on and the gauges stopped working. I opened the hood and started wiggling wires to the tcm and ecm. also pulled the fuse box top off and pressed down on all fuses and relays. Fuse box. Bolts were previously tightended. I also wiggled alligator clip ground wire to make a better connection. None of that helped. I turned the car off and it functioned properly when I turned it back on. I then proceeded to replace the tcm with the refurbished tcm I had purchased 8 month previously but did not install because back then the alligator clips seemed to fix the problem (for 8 months at least) and also replaced the alligator clips with a heavy guage wire that I bolted to the tcm.
I do agree, I don't think that the new ground wire is going to fix this. The problem could be caused by any number of issues (bad battery, alternator, cut or frayed \wires, poor connection). Interestingly, the guy who posted the you tube video showing how to clean and tighten fuse box, says that in retrospect he thinks his problems (which included a starting problem and nonworking guages) was caused by a bad ignition switch. I don't want to take the car to a dealer until the problem becomes "permanent" otherwise ifinding the cause will be like searching for a needle in a haystack. The check engine light has not been going on.when the problem appears.
