what is a "purge valve"?
can you show on the diagram?
it happens to me that Car would crank for 3-5 seconds, this happens randomly any day. May be absent for several months, but may be repeated 2-3 days in a row.

 

The valve is above where the arrow is pointing.

Does anyone know where an SS senses the evap system pressure?

(I’m not asking about sensing low pressure fuel line pressure as I don’t think there is a sensor for that.)

 

Same place LT/LS does the fuel tank pressure sensor. It is done after shutdown.

 

The sensor is above the fuel tank, all models used the same sensor part number.
