Heated seats switch blinking

Hey Guys I done the search now I'm cross eyed, Can someone point in the direction of replacing a module or element in the seat 2006 HHR LT, I'd like to do the repair myself and get this heated seat back in operation.

I don't think there is a how-to on that process here.

If you aren't sure where the problem lay, you need to do a little problem diagnosis. I'd start with checking the resistance of the heating element - if it's "open" then the heating element needs replacing. You can also check for voltage being supplied to the heating element.

Thanks for the help Whopper, I will do some diagnosis and make sure the element is the problem and I will document the process if I have to change the element.

Check the search again, somebody did post recently with pics about doing the seat thing. Maybe you just aren't guessing at the right search phrase. You are using the SEARCH box at the top of this page? I just did a 800 mile day and don't feel like looking right now.
