The pedal position sensor has no connection to the airbag or traction control.

I meant to say the Hazard switch and the Traction Control switches can be forced into each other, they look the same from a distance.

Or any of those wires could have been yanked.

Hello, just stumbled upon this and I know it's a couple months old. Usually if I get the service esc and traction control lights on, there is a plug that is purple in front of the air intake and air filter that wasn't plugged in. Check near where the tube from the filter goes into the engine. Th ere is a connector on the right. Hope this is of any help.
