Since your problem started when you removed the cluster and put back in, maybe you should be looking at the pins in the cluster connector.

Checked the pins. They all loooked great. I'm going to try and trace the wires down from the multi-pin connector, and see if there are any bare wires down that cluster of wires.

I've traced the problem back to the gauge cluster. As of right now, I'm suspecting a bad solder joint, or an accidental cross solder. The dealer is still testing and will let me know. If it was my LED's, I get to pay for a new cluster, if it is something bad in the cluster, GM gets to pay for it.

Ok, prepare to laugh a little bit. The aftermarket moonroof that the dealership had installed before I bought the car, had the power wire and grounding wires tied into part of the gauge cluster. The dealership was able to re-run the wires to the fuse block and properly power, and ground out the wires as needed. They ended up replacing the gauge cluster because when they took it out, they ended up grounding out the power wire and fried it.

Long story short, new gauge cluster=fixed car.

I'm a happy customer.
