There is a "too hot" sensor, I think. Maybe just an AlGoreithm.

Here i go again

Good cuz i had an ace mechanic in my area tell me that CV axles dont slip if worn. Its the tranny fluid temp sensor. These people here fix their mufflers with duct tape. Go figure.

and we use a MIG welder or clamps.




The thermostat in the engine and the radiator fan work with the ECM and TCM , if it’s overheating, then you’ll have codes set like P0128.

Well, in the mechanic's defense, he was at least correct that CV axles don't slip.

I've been trying to figure out how it is possible for the CV to slip; maybe loose by .05 inch; driver would never notice.

No they dont. But im going to check the transmission fluid level and change filter. I checked the rear control arm bushings, the front ball joints. All seem good. Tie rod ends need replacing soon. Other than that it all still points to the CV axles.
