Hey guys, like you I love my HHR SS. Just recently my engine light intermittently has come on. I have noticed that I have a power loss. I am still getting boost and it will still take off pretty well, (if you had never driven he car before you would notice anything wrong with the power) but not the way it normally would. For instance normally on dry pavement from 20 mph, I can stand on the throttle and the front tires will start to rip until the traction control takes over. Now it just accelerates! It also feels a bit more sluggish from the start.
Anyone have this experience?

Have the code(s) pulled and then start there. Without the codes it would be a crap shoot as to what is the issue.

 

Solution: My car has the Stage 1 kit installed as it turns out.

Cut the lower crimps and re-solder. Has run perfect ever since.
