how hot is too hot?

Out here in El Paso my SS runs 210-220 alot. I have gotten used to it and now seen a problems with the car due to the temp.

I raised the cold level mark by 2 inches, & marked it with a Black Marker. Easier to see & lil more in reserve.

Before I did this tho, I made sure to see how high the level rises in summer, with full heat & running it pretty hard.

So no overflow, I have made sure of that..
