I think my hhr is a lemon
I purchased my new hhr on 7/23/08 and I have had nothing but problems with it. It all started when I first picked it up.. the front pass window didnt want to roll up. It eventually did about 1 minute later, so I drove home. It did it again a couple of days later but this time it didnt want to go up at all. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the switch. About 2 days later it did it again so here I go , back to the dealer. This time they replace some wires. About 3 days later it started to rain and I had a leak in my back part of my hatch area. Here I go again, took it back and they fixed it. The following day I noticed they had scratch the back top panel so I called the dealer and informed them about it. They wanted to look at it so here I went again... back up there. They had to order the new panel, which hasnt came in yet. Then about 3 days later the pass side seat lever that adjusts the reclining broke completely off. So guess what... I went back to the dealer so they can order that part.. which is still on order. then about 2 days later the window that they had fixed twice already stoped working again.... this time it didnt want to roll up during a rain storm so guess what... my seat and floor board got totally wet, which was this past tuesday. Anyways I told the dealer that I would bring it by on friday (which is tomorrow) so they can fix everything at one time. Well today I was taking my son to football practice and the damn thing overheated. I thought WTF!!! this hhr only has 1300 miles on it. I called the dealer after I arrived to practice and informed them of the problem. They imediatly had a tow truck to pick it up. My saleman came to pick me up in a loaner and drove me back to the dealer so I can sign some papers for the loaner. While at the dealer my hhr came in and i had the tow driver pop the hood and check the oil. My oil was a cream color. The driver told me it seemed to him that there was water mixed in with the oil!!! After the 3rd incident.. I had called gm customer service and started complaning. I asked for a new hhr and started in on them. I know its not that persons fault but I was HOT!!! Anyways gm opened a case and contacted the dealer about resolving my issues. Am I justified for wanting a replacment? Does anyone know of anything that I can do or call ? I am totally out of my mind rite now

The dealership said they have done everything they could do that Gm wouldnt back......

2. Headliner above my head rattles this has been fixed twice once in April and last week again it is doing it…big issue with me. NO new car should rattle.
3. Dashboard rattles, dealership noticed this but neglected to fix it…thanks.
4. Cloth above headliner was coming out from sunroof that was fixed.
5. Steering Column replacement
6. Left side front seat belt shoulder strap broken
7. Vibration/Wobble from under hood up acceleration – replaced axle shafts BOTH of them
8. Breaks pulsate when applied – rotors warped so those have been refinished.
9. One week after that was replaced now my breaks squeal when I stop hate that as well and I feel a pulsating feeling again..let me guess rotors again.
10. Both rear windows when they went down they didn’t come back up until 8-10 minutes later. Both replaced last week with new regulators and this weekend would you know it one of them stuck AGAIN.
11. Biggest complaint is the rocker panels being sandblasted and having to spend MORE $$ to fix the problem.
I'm to the point now that I want my $$ back or I'm selling it.

NO. It's not a rebuilt engine, it's called NEW engine--IN shrinkwrap from Goodwrench. DO NOT just let them replace the "head, crank, and bearings". That's getting a rebuilt engine in a brand new car. Hold them to the 30 limit too. If they can't get the car back to you in 30 days, make 'em buy it back.
