Question Ignition Control Module - 2006 HHR LT

Just wondering if I can get some insight as to how to remove and replace the ignition control module. I've never done it before!

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

if you have the early 2006 then the ICM has four bolts holding it down over the spark plugs and a wire harness connection to the drivers side , remove the bolts, gently remove the harness connection and lift out! I believe you'll need a 10 MM socket.

Is there a tell tale sign of whether or not I have the earlier 2006?

edit: Is this a dumb question, because I could answer it myself by actually LOOKING?

Jesus, I wonder about myself sometimes.

If you have an early 2006 the top of the engine would look something like this with the air box removed. The later 2006 you can see the coils one on top of each spark plug.
