Thanks, good post donbrew. The General recommends the use of dielectric lubricant, although very lightly. Puts that debate to rest, for me anyway.

What about a 2010 LT 2.2 with those same issues? Will the dealership fix it for free?

Come on, you can't be serious can you? It's a 10 year old car. You really need to read the information that came with the vehicle regarding warranty coverage.

Donbrew posted a TSB or Technical Service Bulletin, it is not to be confused with a warranty or anything free, it merely is a guide to what the dealership mechanics looked at back in the day.
