is it just me?!

Has anyone else run into not being able to jumpstart a car from your HHR?

I recently got my 95 S10 out of storage and had to try and jump the battery.
I tried getting a connection from the leads (on the HHR) under the hood and went as far as trying from the battery itself!

UPDATE: so i'm guessing that after 120 views and no comments, i seem to be the only person that can't jump start another vehicle using my HHR.
guess i'll dig further to see what the issue is.

Could also be that the battery in the s10 is just too dead. Might wanna have it tested.

Smooth:i'd tried to jump a buddy's car last year when his was dead.
The HHR couldn't connect, so i had to get my S10, which worked.

Did you follow the procedure set out in your owner's manual?

For S&G's, I tested voltage at the specified positive connection at the underhood fuse block and the ground point on the shock tower and clearly getting about 12.8-13.2V (engine not running).

Maybe there's an issue with the output of the positive connection? Did you check voltage with a meter?
